Marriage Story- A story to remember
Marriage Story (2019) was directed by Noah Baumbach and stars Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson as two parents living on different sides of the country, trying to claim custody over their son. After messy divorce and custody battle, they learn how to deal with the difficulties of their circumstances. This movie has by far the best acting I have ever seen before. Both leads knock it out of the park with every scene they are in. Adam Driver in particular has many great bursts in emotion throughout. The one argument that the two parents have towards the end made me laugh and cry within minutes. Their son also does a great job of portraying the struggle of constantly moving around. My only problem with the film is how the pacing drags a little towards the middle of the movie. The beginning and the end is so well done to the point were the pacing in the middle sticks out to me. I think that this movie is a gem that should be watched at least once by everyone.
