Spider-Man No Way Home- Spider-Man Endgame

12/16/2021

Spider-Man No Way Home (2021) was directed by Jon Watts and stars Tom Holland as Spiderman. He is dealing with the events of the last film when Mysterio revealed his identity. When Peter goes to Doctor Strange to make everyone forget that he is Spiderman, the spell messes up and brings in villains from every universe. Can Peter send them back while keeping everyone he loves safe? To start, this review will not contain any spoilers. This film is the most ambitious marvel movie to date and it is possibly my favorite. It is action packed, emotional and hilarious. The cast is filled to the brim with amazing performances from Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Benedict Cumberbatch, Alfred Molina and more. The real star of the show though is Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin. He is menacing and everytime he stepped on screen, he drew my attention. There is one scene in-particular that had me and everyone else in that theatre tearing up. Seeing all these people come back and play characters that they did decades ago is a sight to behold. There are so many surprises throughout that had my theatre cheering and clapping. I also loved the intereactions between peter and the villains. It lead to a lot of deeper meaning behind the stories they had to tell. Seeing this trilogy of Spiderman Marvel films come to an end is sad, but they did this entry justice. I found myself sitting there, knowing the end was near and becoming emotional because of it. Sadly, I do have one very small issue with the film. The CGI was a little weird at points. I am really nitpicking here though. This is my favorite Spiderman film of all time and possibly my favorite Marvel film as well. I've been following this film for a year now and I am beyond happy that it lived up to all the hype. Tom Holland is a phenomenal actor and I cannot wait to see what he does with the character later on. Go see this movie in theatres as soon as you can and avoid spoilers at all costs! This movie is a masterpiece and deserves all the love and support it gets.

P.S Stay for the two end credit scenes cause this universe as we know it is going to get a lot more interesting.
