Spiderman Far From Home- A Spiderman Masterclass

Spiderman Far From Home (2019) was directed by Jon Watts and stars Tom Holland and Jake Gyllenhaal. The story follows Peter Parker as he decides to take a break from his super hero life to go on a class field trip to France. Along the way he runs into trouble with an evil force called the "Elementals". The character Mysterio is introduced and is made to look like a hero. Little does Peter know, there is a lot of evil built up behind his motives. The movie was not just action packed but really funny. These Marvel movies have now gotten really good at finding a balance between action and comedy. Tom Holland is wonderful in his role, cementing him as the best Spiderman the big screen has ever seen. I loved seeing his internal struggle as he tries to live up to Tony Stark and what he did for the world. Zendeya and Jake Gyllenhaal also stood out to me performance wise. All of the action set pieces are what you come to expect with the MCU movies now. Big and in your face with you catching what's happening every once in a while. I also credit the movie for dropping a huge bombshell in the end credit scene. Really gets me excited to see where this series now goes. I only had one issue with the film and that was the award pacing in the beginning of the film. I really recommend this movie to not only fans of the MCU but everyone. Definitely will be in my top ten movies of the year.
