Spiderman into the Spiderverse- Beautifully Spun
Spiderman Into the Spider-verse (2018) was directed by Peter Ramsey, Rodney Rothman and Bob Persichetti and follows the story or Miles Morales as he is suddenly thrown into the role of Spiderman as his dimensions Spiderman dies. On the way, he meets other versions of the superhero to join together to take down the Kingpin and stop evil for good. First off, the animation in the film is breathtaking. To be honest I was a little skeptical on how this movie was going to turn out, but I was pleasantly surprised. The voice acting was amazing with Shameik Moore putting in a brilliant performance as Morales. One thing that really surprised me about the film is how many art styles were brought up to the spotlight. For instance, every single dimension of "spider people" had their own style. It really made the characters feel different enough from each other. I personally enjoyed John Mulaneys character Spider-Ham. He brought a lot of charm to the role. Im glad they had a character like him in this film to really spice up the roster of characters. The fights were all well animated and the world honestly felt lived in and real. I really enjoyed this film and I am glad I finally got a chance to watch it.
