The Prodigy- Terror comes in all forms
The Prodigy (2019) was directed by Nicholas McCarthy and stars Taylor Schiling and Jason Robert Scott. The movie follows a mother and her child Miles. When growing up, Miles doesn't seem like a normal boy. He is beyond smart but he shows violent tendencies. After a couple of instances of this, his mother starts to think that something more than mental is wrong with him. The acting in this movie is beyond amazing. Jason Robert Scott makes another case for being the best child actor of this generation. There were even a couple scenes in the movie that had some serious shock factor with the child. I am very happy that this movie took an R rating. It really wasn't afraid to get down and gritty with its subject matter. The ending was also brutal. I love the way it ended. I really hope that they capitalize on this and make a sequel. A very fun time with this one. I highly recommend.
