5. Mission Impossible Fallout

The movie is a masterclass in how an action film should be. Filled with tons of explosions and firefights, the movie was thrilling. The action scenes were mostly done practically which lead to it looking even better. I highly recommend the movie to people who are looking for a quick action fix.

4. Ready Player One

This movie was yet another visual masterpiece from Steven Spielberg. The film was so much fun not only to watch because of how entertaining it was but because of how many easter eggs there were. The cast was also wonderful. An overall good time that I would recommend to anyone.

3. Upgrade

What a Dark Horse film this was! I was pleasantly surprised with how great this movie was. This movie was beyond fun to watch. From the futuristic fights to the banter between the main character and his A.I in his head. The movie is not only action packed but thrilling. I never could guess what was coming next and the ending was shocking. You need to treat yourself to this film immediately.

2. Avengers Infinity War

You know that this movie was going to be here. From a major fan of the Marvel movies, this is what I wanted it to be and more. I cannot wait till part two comes out next year. You already know what to expect from these movies now. Tons of action and laughs with a lot of heart. This is a generational ending to a historic franchise. A must see.

1. A Quiet Place

John Krasinski knocked it out of the park with this one. Not only was A Quiet Place a terrifying movie, it was smart as well. The entire movie had me on the edge of my seat. I really cared about this family and what they were enduring. I was emotional from beginning to end. What a phenomenal film. I genuinely hope that the stories continues in a sequel. What a great film and experience.
